Opening Message

There is a "uniqueness" to our ministry. I would like to share a little about us and our work.

The Carpenter Family Renewal Ministry has been in existence since 1994. Scott Carpenter, along with his lovely wife, Joanne, and their ten children, have traveled each week to encouraging families and "exhorting them unto love and good works." Preaching, singing, and original dramatic performances are some of the ways we enjoy getting God's message across.

My wife, Joanne, and I have been married for 24 years and reside in Saint Albans, West Virginia. Ashley, Heather, Megan, Laura, Daniel, Micah, Anna, and Seth are eight of our ten children that travel each week, and they are all homeschooled. The Carpenter children are an integral part of this special ministry.

The Carpenter Family comes on a love offering basis. God has always teaken care of our financial needs and so we never set a required fee.

Our Dedication

The Carpenter Family Renewal Ministry is dedicated to pointing families to the wisdom of Scripture rather than the "wisdom" of man.

We challenge Dads and Moms to:
- be spiritual leaders in their homes
- confess their sins and their failures
- reject the philosophies of this world
- be discerning in their entertainment choices
- take an active role in the spirtiual training of their children
- be transparent and vulnerable in every relationship
- be faithful, serving members of their local church

The Word of God can bring a renewal to our homes. The Carpenter Family Renewal Ministry is committed to God's Word.

Our Board

The Carpenter Family Renewal Ministry is an incorporated, non-profit organization. Our board is made up of Christian laymen and Pastors.

Our Beliefs

1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God.

2. One Triune God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. The total depravity of man in the fall of Adam.

4. Salvation by grace, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ Who shed His blood on the cross for the remission of our sins.

5. The eternal security and assurance of the believer.

6. Separation from the world and from apostasy.

7. The Divine establishment and preservation of the Church.

8. The personality of Satan, man's chief enemy.

9. The pre-tribulation, pre-millennial coming of Christ and His earthly reign of 1,000 years.

10. A literal Heaven and Hell as the eternal abode of the saved and lost, respectively.
